Access to the archaeological site

Epidavros is located on the northeastern side of the Peloponnese, ( about 150 km from Athens). In order to reach Epidavros from Athens by car, you need to drive through the Greek National Road from Athens to Corinth and once you cross the canal, take the exit to Epidaurus. Once you get off the highway, drive along the coastal road for approximately one hour and follow the signs “Ancient Theatre of Epidaurus”.

Know before booking

  • After booking, you will receive an email from the tour provider (Culture App) with a link on how to download the content. Please don’t forget to check your spam folder as well. After activation the product becomes non-refundable.
  • The tour requires IOS 11.0 or later and Android 10 or later. The tour is not compatible with Windows Phones.
  • You will need approximately 300MB of storage space on your phone.
  • The self-guided tour can be used anytime, both inside and outside the archaeological site.
  • The app works offline. Internet access is only needed to download the archaeological site content.
  • You can delete and re-download the app content at any time.
  • It is recommended to download the self-guided tour content over a Wi-Fi connection before your visit to the archaeological site, unless you have sufficient mobile data.
  • Information about the days and opening hours of the archaeological site and entrance tickets can be found in the visitor info tab of the app.
